It is named spider plant because of its spider-like-leaves that hang downs like spiders on a web. These spider-like-leaves start out as small white flowers. Spider plant is easy to grow and can grow in a wide range of environment.
If you’re a newbie gardener, I can recommend to you planting & caring for spider plant. They will flourish by providing with well-drained soil, bright and indirect light. Watering the plants once daily is enough, but not too wet.
You can place them in garden pots when they are large and the roots are very visible. They can easily be propagated by dividing the mother plant or cutting off one of the plantlets.
